Time Designer has the power 
The most recent update to Spectrasonics’ Stylus RMX groove-manipulation software brings a new module called Time Designer, which lets you manipulate RMX-formatted grooves like never before. Now, the time signature of grooves can be changed in real-time from anywhere from 4/4 to 13/8. Also, pattern variations can be applied to existing grooves — using new algorithms based on musical rules — and the feel or swing of one RMX groove can be ‘locked’ to that of another. What’s more, users can simplify their loops, save their presets and tighten or loosen the ‘strength’ of a groove.
If that wasn’t enough, Spectrasonics have ported a number of effects from Omnisphere, their flagship software instrument, and made Stylus RMX run natively under 64-bit versions of Windows (they say 64-bit Mac support will follow). Other improvements, which should make the RMX user experience even smoother, include the ability for the application to follow the software host’s transport commands and song position.

Hi. I just had the seemingly good fortune to borrow with the option of buying one of these units.
I used it for a mixing session yesterday and both the artist and I were stunned by how much sweeter and more useful it was than the PCM90....suddenly the whole mix fell into place without sounding overly reverbed- very natural and dense-sounding.
I know these are old, rare, etc...I guess my question is is there another unit I should be considering in the $3000-$3500 range (also is this a fair price)...as a main reverb unit. I was amazed at the usefulness of this box compared to any reverb I've ever heard- and I had no expectations...it's real.
Any opinions?
